Former AC Milan sporting director Ariedo Braida has spoken about the Rossoneri in an exclusive interview granted to QS. Here are his statements:
On his possible return to Milan:
“I have received several calls from Italian clubs and also three calls from foreign clubs. I have not heard anyone from Milan, this is the truth".
On Donnarumma:
“If you say Donnarumma you think of Milan, Milan is Milan. I hope that Gigio will stay because he is among the top 3 in the world ”.
On whether it's so difficult to deal with Mino Raiola:
“No, he does his job. If you have a Ferrari or a 500, it's different. He is very good and has the best players, plus he is able to negotiate”.
On Ibrahimovic:
“No surprises about him, he's a champion. On the pitch it is right that the good ones go. It is always said that 'young people must play', but the personal aspect is not an indication of skill. Those who play well are good, not those who are younger. Abroad they play because they are good. At Bayern, for example, Jamal Musiala plays because he is good. Donnarumma at what age did he play? He was good. Is Ibrahimovic 40 years old? Yes, but he plays because he is still the best”.
