An important victory for AC Milan over Napoli today, with Bergamaschi, Hasegawa, Dowie and Giacinti on the scoresheet, the rossonere have taken an important step towards securing qualification for the next Champions League.

Here the player ratings:

Starting XI:

Korenciova (6) – After the first 10 minutes, she became a privileged spectator.

Fusetti (6.5) – Playing in the left, Laura had a rock-solid outing defensively and helped the team pushing forward with competence.

Agard (6) – After Yui’s goal, she managed to keep Napoli at bay on the few occasions they created, especially in the second half.

Vitale (6) – Very good defensive work in the first half, struggled a little in the second halfe. Unlike Fusetti, could not help offensively.

Bergamaschi (6.5) – Broke the deadlock with great opportunism, but her performance dropped a little during the match.

Hasegawa (8) – Another great outing from Yui, both offensively and defensively, and still managed scored an unexpected header. Becomes more crucial to AC Milan game after game.

Vero (6.5) – A performance slightly below from the Spaniard this time, comparing from what she has already shown to be capable of.

Jane (6.5) – A few passing errors, but, overall, a good game.

Tucceri Cimini (7) – Found a perfect balance between defense and attack in this match.

Giacinti (7.5) – Vale started the play which resulted in the first goal and left her mark against her former team with style in the second half reaching 17 Serie A goals and 23 seasonal goals, her best as a rossonera.

Dowie (7.5) – Delivered the usual hard work, protecting the ball and her clever positioning was once again awarded, scoring with her 11th league goal.

Substitutes:

Rask (5,5) – She is quite clear a step down defensively compared to Jane. Booked after 10 minutes on the pitch.

Kuliš, Grimshaw, Salvatori Rinaldi and Tamborini (N/A) – Didn’t have enough playing time to make and impact.
