Through the microphones of Eurosport, former AC Milan attacking midfielder Dejan Savicevic had his say about the Superleague. Here are his words:
"I read an article on Florentino Perez, he said: 'More money for us and more money for others.' I think it's a wrong thing, because seeing how much the companies are in debt, for example Milan which is not so much, I think 100, 120 million, but seeing the other companies 600, 800, 900. But what did they do? Why did you pay players 50, 60, 100 million, for what? Do you want to keep all the money to yourself now? Not for football. Surely they did it to repay...".
