Former AC Milan head coach Carlo Ancelotti had his say about the Superleague in the press conference today. Here are his words:
"For all football fans these were strange and surprising days. We had heard something about the Super League in recent months but I didn't think it could be possible. These 12 clubs were wrong and did not take into account two important parts of the question: on the one hand the players and the coaches, on the other the fans. They wanted to create a competition without sporting merits and this is unacceptable! Our culture passes through merit: those who are good play, those who are not do not play. Whoever is better wins and plays the best competitions."
