One of UEFA's Vice Presidents spoke publicly today on possible sanctions that would be enforced for clubs involved in the late European Super League. The spokesman did not go in to explicit details, but stated:
"We will have to discuss possible additional consequences, the first consequence is that they will live with the shame,".
UEFA has been very public in their disapproval of the Super League, as it was created in direct competition of their Champions League. While they have no detailed specific sanctions, it appears that the board is discussing the punishment for the 12 founding clubs that signed their commitment over the weekend.
AC Milan made an official comment today, via their social media platforms, regarding their involvement with the Super League. They acknowledged their involvement with the club, and recognized that they must listen to the fans, but did not officially denounce their involvement in the league. Many reports came out on Tuesday confirming Milan's exit from the Super League, but the club has yet to make that announcement.
