AC Milan Women defender Laura Agard granted an exclusive interview to Milan TV and spoke about the rossonere’s last matches and challenges yet to come this season.
Here are her words:
On this season so far:
"We are almost at the end, so we must be focused and ready."
On the remaining games:
"We must face them as we always do, game after game, try to avoid overthinking about it, but we must also be focused. We will take on Roma first and then we think about the other adversaries."
On last match, against Inter:
"The important thing was to get a win, and we did it. Sure, maybe a better game management in the second half would have helped, they only had two chances and scored two goals, but still got the result and, in the end, it went well."
On the matches against Roma:
"They’re going to be 2 completely different matches and know how it went on the first game against them this season, so we know that Roma are a strong team, but we also have what it takes, so, we will see."
On her thoughts about the Giallorosse:
"Roma, for me, are a team that plays good football, they have a strong squad, their players are united, so it will be difficult for us to get past them, but it will also be hard for them. They have done very well so far, even managed to beat Juventus, an impressive feature because, well, Juventus are Juventus, so they have done something great and therefore we must be ready and concentrate to get a win."
On this season’s goals:
"We’ll do the math at the end of the season. We have the Coppa Italia final and must finish second in the league, there are still those matches to be played, so, we will do the math at the end."
