According to AS: Initially, Real Madrid proposed to offer the same deal (approximately 3.5 million euro per season) to the versatile player but with the club also anxious to include the 10% general salary reduction that has been applied to all players of the basketball and football teams as a consequence of loss of income via the pandemic.
Five million per season
Also as reported by AS: After a number of rounds of negotiation and awareness of external interest, Real Madrid have made the player an improved offer of five million euro per season as part of a three-year extension deal with the possibility of a further one-year extension.
