It is clear that the AC Milan team needs a reliable striker that can be a proper alternative to Zlatan Ibrahimovic. So far, the Croatian Mario Mandzukic did not manage to win over the fans as he is struggling to meet the expectations of the club.
Lately, there have been some news that linked Fiorentina's young talented attacker from Serbia, Dusan Vlahovic, to the Rossoneri's mercato plans. But it would not be an easy move to pull.
In fact, Gianluca Di Marzio has given an update on the player's future to the microphones of Sky Sport:
"Fiorentina still want to keep him with them and renew his contract. Even if he were desired by some clubs, the value would still be very high. Let's not forget the expiration of his contract in 2023, which is not near. Much will depend on Fiorentina's technical project, I know that negotiations with Gattuso and De Zerbi did not take off. Both coaches asked for a very important restyling because they have different ideas about football than the squad that exists at the moment. Juric may be the chosen one by the club because he plays 3 in defense and also knows many players from the current squad."
