AC Milan have sent their Uruguayan left wing-back to Scottish side Celtic. His season does not seem to be exactly what the player himself and both clubs have hoped for as he should be returning to the San Siro once his loan deal ends.
In fact, as reported by the Italian outlet SportMediaset Diego Laxalt will return at the season's end. It is the decision of Celtic's management.
In the meantime, AC Milan's club managers are thinking of the idea to keep him within the squad as deputy to Theo Hernàndez.
This puts a question on the future of Portuguese fullback Diogo Dalot as he may not be redeemed at the end of the season from Premier League club Manchester United.
