AC Milan has been putting a lot of focus lately on youth players, especially since the arrival of Geoffrey Moncada, who is the chief scout of the club.
Milan had signed quite a few interesting profiles such as Alexis Saelemaekers, Jens Petter Hauge, and Pierre Kalulu besides a couple of additions to the Primavera squad.
Now, the newspaper named “Jutarnji List” claimed that the Rossoneri have set their sites on Roko Simic. The last name is familiar to Milan fans, obviously. In fact, the youngster is the son of former Milan player Dario Simic.
The player is a 17 year-old striker playing for NK Lokomotiva Zagreb, the club is not exactly in a good form, and that might make the player opt to leave for a different destination.
On the player, there is not only Milan but also RB Salzburg, Hellas Verona, and Torino. The player’s father spoke to the above-mentioned newspaper about his son’s future and said the following:
“I would be happy if Roko stays in Croatia for another year or two, that is the plan. We will see what happens, all options are open. Now the most important thing is that he helps Lokomotiv Zagreb stay in the league.”
