Yesterday, Parma, who were promoted to Serie A last season, lost against Torino 1-0. The club from Turin leaps a little further from the relegation battle thanks to a goal by Mergim Vojvoda, a 26 year-old Kosovan right-back.
With that loss, Parma are officially set to be relegated to Serie B once the season ends and they will have to sort a few matters on the transfer market. Certainly, one of them is the redemption issue of Andrea Conti.
In fact, the agreement between the club and AC Milan says that Andrea Conti's permanent signing becomes obligatory. Now, since that Parma are relegated, the club does not have to redeem the Italian left-back.
The transfer obligation would have brought around 7 million euros for the Rossoneri club.
