AC Milan triumphed with a well deserved and clear superiority which was displayed against Juventus in Turin. The players gave it their all as they were hungry for a win to finally seal the Champions League qualification.
One of the players that did exceptionally well, besides Brahim Diaz, is Chelsea's loanee Fikayo Tomori. He made the fans very supportive of him and cheering in his favour ahead of Alessio Romagnoli.
As reported today by Tuttosport, deploying Tomori so often by the coach means that the Italian centre-back, Romagnoli, is no longer central to the team's plans. His contract is set to expire in 2022 and a breakup between the player and club could be very possible soon.
Romagnoli is being benched, which frustrates him and makes him upset as he risks losing a spot with the national team in the Euro 2021 cup competition.
These are all factors that may lead the defender to leave the club without too much remorse in the summer. The Rossoneri club could seriously consider his sacrifice, so as to finance other incoming shots. Juventus is said to be interesting in securing his signature.
