AC Milan and Lazio are already working on improving their respective squads in view of next season. Both clubs have already set their sights on a familiar name in the Serie A.
The player in discussion is Inter's defender Danilo D'Ambrosio. He is a 32 year-old right back who has valuable experience with the Nerazzurri as well as the national team of Italy.
As pointed out in today's edition of La Repubblica, the 32-year-old Italian defender is set to leave Inter at the of his contract this season in June after being part of Antonio Conte's scudetto winning squad.
AC Milan are understood to be in the race to land the player and bring him to the red and black side of the city of Milano while the Biancocelesti managers are said to be big fans of the player as well.
D'Ambrosio, for his part, requests a salary of 2.5 million euros net per season. The summer transfer window is approaching and it seems that the two clubs will be battling each other to win his signature.
