The AC Milan Women coach Maurizio Ganz spoke to the Milan Tv’s microphone and shared some of his thoughts after the draw against Hellas Verona in the last matchday of Serie A this season.
Here his words:
On the game against Hellas Verona:
"Now we have ahead of us our last battle, on Sunday in the Coppa Italia final against Roma, and I think we did great at the league. Even today if we went under two goals, we were able to comeback, to draw and we even had the opportunity to win the game. This is it, every year we’re there, we train well and so I'm happy with these of our players who always give everything 100%."
"It was a difficult match, on a warm day out here, it was a battle. We have also to comeback twice when we were trailing, and so we have shown character, obstinacy, this desire to win, this determination we will carry with us all week and into the battle on Sunday."
On the match against Sassuolo:
"The match against Sassuolo for the Champions League Qualification will remain in my mind for a very long time. I think it was an incredible and difficult day but got what we wanted in a great way and we deserved it."
