According to Corriere dello Sport, Fiorentina are doing everything within their power to convince their Serbian center forward, and Milan target, Dusan Vlahovic to renew with the club. Vlahovic is on the radar of many European clubs, and Las Violas recognize the demand for their player, and are doing their best to increase the terms of a renewal for the Serbian. Fiorentina want Vlahovic as the center peice for the project moving forward, and have made the steps to get him a significant salary increase. President Commisso is optimistic about the renewal of his player, as he feels Vlahovic will want to stay in Florence to help build the project.
Vlahovic and his manager will carefully determine their options this summer. Fiorentina's current proposal does not have a release clause attached. Beyond the financials, Las Violas would guarantee a starting spot moving forward, as they want to build the team around him. The forward is coming off of a 21 goal season, and Fiorentina will not want their goal scorer to slip away.
Milan have been linked to Vlahovic for some time. Maldini and Massara are looking for an heir to Ibra's throne this summer, and many feel Vlahovic will be the perfect fit. The negotiations will obviously not be easy, as Fiorentina have appeared to ramp up their efforts to resign their player.
