Sky Sport journalist Manuele Baiocchini spoke of the situation regarding AC Milan, Donnarumma, and Maignan. He said the following words:
"Maignan is expected at Casa Milan for the contract signing. It will be a 5-year-deal with 2.5 million euros as a yearly salary plus bonuses. The Rossoneri have booked the player's transfer for months now. The operation will cost 13 million euros + 2 million as a bonus."
"As for the failure of renewing Donnarumma's contract, AC Milan have submitted an offer for Donnarumma of two years that is worth 7 million euros + 1 million in bonus with a 20 million release clause in case of non-qualification to the Champions League. There were also Raiola's commissions to be sorted out, but there was never an agreement in the first place."
"Donnarumma wanted at least 12 million euros to sit down and negotiate. So, Milan decided to take Maignan instead. No new attempts to find an agreement with Donnarumma will be made anymore."
