Slovenian playmaker, Josip Ilicic, has been one of the important pieces of Gasperini's system at Atalanta until recently when he lost his starting spot. However, his experience and quality remains the same as it tempts AC Milan to sign him on a low-cost deal.
According to the latest news provided by the daily Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, the 33 year-old player will leave Atalanta in this coming transfer window.
AC Milan is a valid option for him as the management are big admirers of his skills and abilities, but there are also other clubs that want him, claims the report.
For their part, the Rossoneri market men at Casa Milan do not want to spend too much money, considering his age (33) and his contract expiry which is in 2022.
