Gianluigi Donnarumma's contract expires in about a month from now and it seems that he will be leaving the Rossoneri club on a free move since negotiations for renewal have not been fruitful.
AC Milan have brought Mike Maignan from Lille. The 25 year-old French goalkeeper underwent his medicals today at Milano.
According to the latest information concerning the renewal saga involving Raiola who represents Gigio, Sky journalist Manuele Baiocchini said the following:
"Milan had made the offer to Donnarumma: 8 million euros per season. The Rossoneri had proposed a multi-year, a two-year and even a one-year contract just to calmly re-evaluate next year, but agent Raiola, did not make himself available and only wanted 10-12 million euros salary for his client."
"Then there were very high commissions to be paid, which the company did not intend to recognize in huge amounts. Milan wanted to protect themselves and took Lille's Maignan, who arrived in the city last night and had medical examinations this morning. The club shielded the player by letting him enter the clinic for visits from a secondary entrance."
