AC Milan decided not to keep on useless renewal talks with agent Mino Raiola over the deal of Gianluigi Donnarumma and responded strongly by signing Mike Maignan. Now, only an official announcement is missing.
Alfred Gomis, French goalkeeper of Lige 1 side Stade Rennais, and a former one for Torino and SPAL, commented on this transfer operation by saying the following words in an interview granted to Gazzetta dello Sport:
"Mike Maignan is an excellent goalkeeper. He is very sure and confident of himself. His physical ability is very good. He is brave and gives confidence to his teammates in the defense and also the rest of the team."
