Sandro Tonali is a young talent, class of 2000. Paolo Maldini and Massara worked hard to win his signature in the summer by bringing him to the San Siro before Inter had the chance to finalise the deal.
During this season, the young Italian midfielder did not shine consistently but the club is convinced of his potential and that the difficulties are normal for his age.
However, the club is trying to find new ways to keep the player but while changing the terms of the deal with Brescia as they are owed a fee of buy-option with bonuses.
Milan paid 10 million euros for the loan, the buy-option is set at 15 million euros while 8 million are included in the deal as bonuses. Therefore, the deal reaches a total of 33 million euros.
Massara and Maldini’s goal is to find an agreement with Brescia for a discount. A meeting will be held in the next few days with club president Massimo Cellino to find an understanding. Otherwise, the Rossoneri will still complete the operation for Tonali, as per Calciomercato.com.
