Andriy Shevchenko, legendary forward of the Rossoneri and current coach of Ukraine's national team granted the following interview to RadioRai. Here are his words:
"Milan were the protagonists of a great final of the season, beating Juve, Turin and Atalanta, the team in the best form in the league. They achieved all the objectives and now he must prepare for a great Champions League."
Coaching Milan in the future:
" Now I am very busy in this project with Ukraine, which I carry on together with my friend Mauro Tassotti. We did a good job and we aim to get a result in the European Championship. I would like to coach a club one day, I'd like it to be Milan."
On Donnarumma's case:
"We are all free to make our own choices, he is a young boy, he is at the beginning of his career and, in my opinion, he could have stayed in order to achieve results, then maybe he could change in the future."
On Ibrahimovic:
"He became an excellent dressing room man, he was decisive in the league when he played. He is a player who certainly makes young players grow, on the pitch he has the right qualities and attitudes. He has become the leader of the team."
On the coaches' changes in Serie A:
"Conte knows what he wants and, when he left Inter, he did it because maybe he is looking for something specific. He played a great championship, he won it, he played football that he built day after day, now he is free to make his own choices."
