As reported by MilanNews, Milan and Chelsea have come to an agreement over conditions for purchase of loan player Fikayo Tomori. Milan took the player on loan in January from the Blues, and he has shined in the red and black. Milan were convinced to purchase the player by the end of the season, and have reportedly come to terms today over the purchase of the player.
Milan waited to initiate discussions with Chelsea until after their Champions League final match, which took place on Saturday. It did not take management long to come to terms over the purchase, and Tomori will be with Milan for years to come.
It has been reported that the agreed upon price was 28 million euros, which is what the contract outlined when Milan took him on loan. It was expected that Milan would try to lower that price, or defer the payments, but as of now it appears that Chelsea will collect the full asking price.
An official announcement is expected from both clubs in the next couple of days.
