Sandro Tonali's talent is highly deemed by many clubs, and it did not go unnoticed by AC Milan management as they signed him despite heavy competition from others. The young Italian came on loan with an option to buy, reportedly set at 15 million euros.
As pointed out by Tuttosport, the strategy is to keep the player permanently but not at the price agreed upon at first with Brescia.
The amount to be paid in total is 25 million euros (15 million euros + 10 million euros in bonus). Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara seek a discount. In fact, they do not want to go beyond 10 million euros for the buy-option.
As for Tonali and his entourage, they are convinced that negotiations will be completed successfully. The Milan executives will resume talks with Brescia president on Monday. An agreement must be found in 10 days.
