Inter Milan are yet to make a final decision regarding club's defender Danilo D'Ambrosio, who is said to be targeted by cross-city rivals AC Milan, as the Nerazzurri's new head coach Simone Inzaghi has reportedly been given the task to evaluate the 32-year-old, among other players, ahead of the next summer transfer window.
According to what was reported by the Italian transfer guru Gianluca Di Marzio, the Milanese club's management asked D'Ambrosio, Kolarov, Ranocchia and Young, to wait for another week before signing with any other club, as the aforementioned players' contracts are all expiring on June 30th,
In fact, Inter want to 'give Inzaghi the chance to make more in-depth assessments', so the club could then renew players who are deemed 'useful for the project', as reported by the same source.
