The mercato window did not officially open yet but life at Casa Milan seems busy already. The managers of the Rossoneri team have met with the well-known FIFA agent Giuseppe Riso.
According to sources at Milannews.it, the topic of discussion at the club was AC Milan's loanee who spent more than one full season at Atalanta: Mattia Caldara.
The 27-year-old Italian centre-back has a contract that will expire in summer 2023. The parties have discussed his future. It remains to be seen what further updates should bring.
Confirmations arrive from sources at Calciomercato.com stating that Caldara was the theme of the conversation between Maldini, Massara and agent Beppe Riso as they look for a new club to accomodate him.
They also add that his other two clients who are owned by AC Milan were also discussed. In fact, Frosinone is pressing to sign 21 year-old midfielder Marco Brescianini who spent a season loan at Virtus Entella. The other name is Lorenzo Colombo who might leave on a temporary basis again, after his loan period at Cremonese.
