It seems as though Hakan Calhanoglu may be closer to staying with AC Milan for the coming seasons. His contract is set to expire officially this summer and rumours have claimed that he will not be renewing with the Rossoneri, especially that a rich offer from Qatar was received.
According to what was reported by SportMediaset, Hakan Calhanoglu does not have that many options, in fact. He will eventually say yes to Milan's proposed offer.
For that reason, the negotiations with Udinese for Rodrigo De Paul have been halted for now. If Hakan puts pen to paper in favour of the Rossoneri deal, then Milan would allocate around 35 to 40 million euros that is needed for the Argentine playmaker and shift their attention to Hakim Ziyech of Chelsea.
The club is already negotiating with Chelsea over Fikayo Tomori and Olivier Giroud and would start new talks over the Moroccan international attacking midfielder, who can also be a winger.
