AC Milan want to extend the current contract of Italian centre-back Alessio Romagnoli whose deal runs out in summer of 2022.
However, according to what is reported by SportMediaset, the Rossoneri want to keep the captain at the same salary that he is currently earning. It is doubtful that Alessio accepts such a proposal especially due to the downgrade he saw at the San Siro. Now he's mainly sitting on the bench after Fikayo Tomori's arrival.
Therefore, since the contract expires next year, the price for the player has dropped as well, he is now valued somewhere between 15 to 20 million euros with some clubs interested.
As for his super agent, Mino Raiola, he is making moves to find an a new destination for his client. Barcelona is interested while Milan like Junior Firpo from the Blaugrana. Thus, a possible swap deal could take place between both parties.
Juventus' coach Allegri likes Romagnoli, but Milan would demand a trade including Merih Demiral who is valued by Il Bianconeri at 30 million euros. In England, one should keep an eye on Tottenham who are also admirers of the Italian central defender.
