As announced yesterday, AC Milan signed Fikayo Tomori permanently from Chelsea after the loan move. Multiple reports suggest that the board paid the full pricetag and were granted no discount.
The fee is 28 million euros, and that makes this operation the fifth most expensive purchase under the ownership of Elliott Management.
The most expensive signing is that of Lucas Paquetà who cost the club a total of 37.8 million euros. Then, there comes Mattia Caldara who was signed for 36 million euros, but in reality his arrival had materialised in an exchange with Juventus with Bonucci and Higuain).
In third place, there is Krzysztof Piatek, brought to Milan in January 2019 from Genoa for a fee of 35 million euros.
Ahead of Tomori, who is fifth in this ranking, there is Rafael Leao that was signed by the club from Lille for a fee of 25 million euros plus the inclusion of Tiago Djaló's card, this was pointed out in today's edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport.
