Ahead of the Russia-Danemark game in the European Championship, AC Milan defender Simon Kjaer has spoken once again in the press conference earlier today about the incident of his national teammate Christian Eriksen. Here are his words:
"I will never forget that day. Now Christian is fine, he is with his family and he needs some time. We have all reacted as a team, each as right according to their person. But I am proud of how we have handled everything. I love to help others, to make myself available. As a team we have had a lot of conversations with each other, we focused on the little things and also on what happened in the last week. Russia? Sounds incredible, but in a couple of days we could all be at home. But we know what our strengths are and we focus on those. Russia has many great players that are underestimated but we won't make this mistake, if we do we won't get the result we want."
