AC Milan are evaluating all their options in this period before the start of the summer transfer market window officially in July 1st.
The daily newspaper of La Gazzetta dello Sport takes stock of several AC Milan players and their fates.
One of the players discussed is Tommaso Pobega. After a loan spell in Serie B, the player moved again on loan, but this time to Spezia. He spent a good season and showed plenty of skills and quality.
It seems that Milan are happy with his progress and want to keep him in the squad, given that there will be many games to be played over the course of the new campaign in Europe and Italy.
The midfielder can find some space, and even more if Sandro Tonali is not signed permanently from Brescia. Milan are holding on to Pobega because they do not want to suffer the same mistake of letting go of Manuel Locatelli.
However, players who will be on their way out are: Andrea Conti as well as Mattia Caldara. The Italian 27 year-old full-back spent a loan period at Parma who failed to survive the Serie A salvation race. As for the centre-back, Caldara, he returned to Milanello after his loan at Atalanta which did not go well, playing so little.
Léo Duarte, Brazilian centre-back is set to leave Milan permanently and remain at his club, Başakşehir, in Turkey
Finally, addressing the goalkeeper issue, the third gloveman, after the departure of Antonio Donnarumma with his brother Gianluigi, will be Primavera product Alessandro Plizzari.
