As learned by Tuttomercatoweb, Milan have confirmed interest in Real Madrid player Alvaro Odriozola, and Diogo Dalot is involved in the proceedings too. Dalot enjoyed his spell in Milan, and reportedly would like to spend another season with the red and black. Milan think favorably of the player, but currently have their eyes on Odriozola out of Madrid. Newly appointed manager Carlo Ancelotti does not intend to use the right-back in the short term, and is open to a loan option for the player.
Those at Casa Milan like the 25-year-old profile, and he is currently at the top of their list. If Odriozola were to leave, Madrid like the idea of bringing in Dalot as a replacement. Manchester United is looking to move their Portuguese player, and apparently Ancelotti and company would enjoy having the player in Madrid if a vacancy occurs.
Milan still have Davide Calabria and Pierre Kalulu on the squad for next season, but would like to add depth to the position. Milan have already had successful negotiations with the club in Madrid, and they may now be engaging in another. It appears there are multiple options for the position, and Maldini and Massara will have decisions to make in the coming weeks for the role.
