Through the microphones of Sky Sport 24, Manuele Baiocchini has delivered the latest updates concerning the situation of Real Madrid attacking midfielder Brahim Diaz, amid reported interest from AC Milan to conserve the youngster beyond this season. Here is what he said:
"The player at stake between Milan and Real is Brahim, Florentino Perez said there are no other options, either Brahim stays in Madrid or if he goes away he will play for Milan. The problem is that Milan would like to make a loan with the right of redemption around 20 million euros. Real Madrid, who strongly believe in the potential of this boy, thinks that the right of redemption that Milan must put into this negotiation must be much higher. We do not know the precise figure, but we do know that Real Madrid would like a lot of money to make sure that Milan eventually redeem Brahim after two years of loan, they would like to insert a buy-back. The negotiation is not easy but Milan are convinced they will be able to streamline it in the end".
