As reported and analyzed by CalcioMercato, right-back Andrea Conti is set to return to Milan tomorrow, but he will not last long as Milan look to sell the Italian. Conti spent the last few months at loan with Parma, but now that his loan period has come to an end today, he will be returning to Milan.
Pioli does not intend to use Conti in the future, so Maldini and Massara have begun looking for suitors for the defender. Sampdoria have shown interest in the player, but could have trouble paying the 2 million a year wages that he currently receives with the Rossoneri.
The player's net value is currently 4,840,000 euros, so management will look to sell the player for at least 5 million to make a profit. Sampdoria have begun discussions with Conti's entourage, but no official negotiations have taken place. All involved parties aim to find a quick solution to the matter.
The 27-year-old has been with the red and black since the club moved him from Atalanta in 2017. The player showed very positive signs, but injuries began to hamper his progress. Davide Calabria stepped up in the right-back position, forcing Conti to the bench. Milan will look to make a profit off of their player and hope to do so soon.
