To bolster the striker role in Stefano Pioli's formation, the Rossoneri managers, Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara have identified Olivier Giroud as possible reinforcement.
The Frenchman, 34 years old, has been heavily linked with a move to the Rossoneri in order to alternate with 39-year-old Zlatan Ibrahimovic who is currently recovering from the recent knee operation.
As reported by Corriere dello Sport, Giroud in these days will force his hand with Chelsea to free himself to become a free agent and join the red and black side of Milano.
These may actually be the last few days for the striker at the London-based club, should Chelsea agree to the demands of the attacker.
