AC Milan managers, Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara, are still working to sign an attacker in order to bolster the attack that is led by Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The Swedish striker is currently recovering after the knee operation. That is why an alternative to Ibra is needed.
The name that remains on top of Maldini's wishlist is the Frenchman of Chelsea, experienced centre forward who is 34 years old, World Cup and Champions League winnger, Olivier Giroud.
According to what is reported in today's edition of Tuttosport, the agreement is there: 4 million euros per season in a contract of 2 years with an option to extend for a third year.
However, in order to conclude such operation, Giroud and his entourage must hold talks with Chelsea's board to convince them of canceling the contract. Milan wants to sign Olivier only at zero cost. The agents are in constant talks with the London-based club to find a solution.
