After concluding the permanent signing of Fikayo Tomori, a Cobham product who impressed very well during the loan spell at the San Siro, Milan is eyeing up a potential package transfer including three players from Chelsea.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport in today's edition, the axis between Milan and the Blues is hot. Three players that are targeted by the club are: Olivier Giroud, Tiémoué Bakayoko, and Hakim Ziyech.
For the defensive French midfielder is an old acquaintace to Milan and Paolo Maldini would like an opportunity to work with him again.
Giroud, is also appreciated and seen as an ideal alternative to Ibrahimovic. An agreement with him is found. But, a deal would only happen if he frees himself from the contract.
Finally, Hakim Ziyech is one of the favourites to take up the position which was vacated by Hakan Calhanoglu who left on a free.
However, as pointed out by the newspaper mentioned earlier, the Blues director Marina Granovskaia is hard to negotiate with. Maldini and Massara see that the requests for wantaways Bakayoko and Ziyech to be very exaggerated.
But Chelsea management is not changing its stance; there will be no discounts given.
Therefore, Milan will wait further and see if Chelsea decrease their demands by time.
