Spanish football powerhouse FC Barcelona are reportedly intending to let club's midfielder Miralem Pjanic go away in the current summer transfer window.
The Bosnia international has just landed in the Catalan capital less than a year ago coming from Serie A heavyweights Juventus in a swap deal between the two parties.
According to what has been revealed by Mundo Deportivo, the Liga giants have contacted the 31-year-old to cancel his contract with the club, as he is out of Ronald Koeman's plans. For his part, Pjanic prefers to wait and explore the market to find a way out.
For the record, Diario Sport reported earlier this week that AC Milan along with cross-city rivals Inter have both 'carried out surveys' with the Blaugrana concerning the veteran central player in order to 'understand if a potential deal could go through'.
