AC Milan want to secure the signing of a striker that can be a reliable alternative option for Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The target is Olivier Giroud, and it seems that there has been progress on this front.
According to what has been revealed by Calciomercato.com, the deal is fast approaching to the finish line. After redeeming Tonali and renewing Calabria's contract, Brahim Diaz' return, it will be Giroud's turn to come to Milanello.
Now, some details regarding the seperation between Giroud and Chelsea are missing. The player is aiming to free himself from the contract. But, Milan will still pay a minimum compensation to Chelsea to quickly resolve the situation.
