RB Leipzig midfielder Marcel Sabitzer, who has entered the final year of his contract with the German club, is reportedly heading towards parting ways with the white-and-red club during the current summer transfer window, amid reported interest from AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund.
However, Sport1 chief reporter Patrick Berger has denied rumors sending the Austria international to Marco Rose's side replying to a tweet asking whether the black-and-yellow club is following the talented deep-lying playmaker.
"No. BVB is not interested in Marcel Sabitzer. The Leipzig captain is not on Borussia’s shortlist. Dortmund is not in need of buying players for this position (central midfield)." responded Berger.
