After Hakan Calhanoglu's exit from AC Milan more than a couple of weeks ago, the Rossoneri management are still on the hunt for an upgrade on the attacking midfielder role.
According to what has been revealed by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Stefano Pioli wants a quality player who can play between the lines and support the striker up front. In this regard, two profiles are circled in red at the offices of Maldini and Massara: Marcel Sabitzer and Nikola Vlasic.
Milan has been also linked with Tadic of Ajax, however, he is in his thirties and Milan would like to focus on a younger profile.
The Rossoneri management will therefore choose between Sabitzer of RB Leipzig who is 27 years old with a contract expiring next year, or Nikola Vlasic who has a running contract with CSKA Moscow until 2024, he is 23 years old and could be a concrete target for Paolo Maldini.
