In the next few days, Olivier Giroud will have signed for AC Milan and became a Rossonero officially.
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport in today's edition, Milan and Chelsea have defined the final details about this transfer operation.
The 34-year-old Frenchman will sign a two-year-deal which will see him earn a yearly salary of 3 million euros with an option to renew his contract for one more year.
Giroud will land in Milano tomorrow evening. But, the medical and fitness tests as well as the contract signing is scheduled for Friday.
After that, Giroud will head to Milanello in order to meet the coach Stefano Pioli and the new teammates. Nonetheless, the experienced centre forward is expected to join the squad group on 26 July, reports the newspaper.
