AC Milan is in the process of signing Olivier Giroud today. The 34-year-old veteran striker completed his medical examinations and will soon be at Casa Milan to sign the contract.
According to Corriere della Sera today, Paolo Maldini pushed strongly to sign the French veteran from Chelsea because the club needed a winner and someone who has plenty of experience at the highest stage of football.
Olivier Giroud will be a great addition to coach Stefano Pioli's squad. The Rossoneri team is a young one, and having the former Arsenal and Chelsea centre-forward on board means that he will be of great help to the players.
Milan's attack is settled with Giroud and Zlatan Ibrahimovic both available. Previously, Zlatan alone will not be enough because it will be a very long and challenging season which will see AC Milan return to the Champions League after so many years of absence.
