AC Milan want to keep the important players that contributed to the good run in Serie A last season and they want to satisfy their needs. Simon Kjaer is one of the guys that helped the team a lot on the pitch thanks to his qualities and experience.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport in today's print edition, Milan want to extend his contract. The contacts between the Rossoneri club and the Dane's agent, Mikkel Beck, continue in a constructive manner.
The idea for both parties is to continue together until 2023. Milan managers, Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara would be happy to place Kjaer in the centre of the project.
As for coach Stefano Pioli, he would like to make the experienced centre-back as new team captain. The Italian technician would therefore be happy with a contract renewal for his star.
