AC Milan could be set for some changes for the new season in regards to the formation system operated by the coach.
With the new signings, such as Olivier Giroud, there are now more tactical ideas and solutions to be tried out at Milanello.
According to Sky Sport journalist Peppe Di Stefano, the coaching staff is studying the option at Milanello:
"Waiting for the return of the national team players, a good Milan will play against Modena with Tonali, Tomori, Romagnoli, Leao, Bennacer ... We will see a Milan that will get so close to the starting lineup. Milan want to do great things this year. They tell me about a great chemistry at Milanello. The news is that, in addition to the 4-2-3-1 which is Pioli's trademark, a 4-4-2 has been tried several times, considering the lack of another attacking midfielder and the arrival of Brahim Diaz only a few days ago; in some training, moreover, a 4-3-3. Flexibility is one of the most interesting aspects when you want to become a great team."
