AC Milan achieved second place in Serie A rankings last season which is a very good result that saw the Rossoneri finally come back to its favourite competition, the Champions League. However, that does not mean that the squad is complete and fully ready for the new challenges.
Among the positions which need reinforcement is the right flank that is occupied by Alexis Saelemaekers in rotation with Samu Castillejo. The latter did not show consistent performances that convinced the club managers Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara and now, there is a need to raise some cash and fund the next incoming transfer operations. That can be done by making some sales.
It seems that Castillejo is placed on the transfer list by the club leaders at Casa Milan. Four Spanish clubs are following the track of the winger and they are: Espanyol , Getafe, Valencia and Celta Vigo. All of them have already asked for information from the player's entourage.
To offload Castillejo, Milan would ideally like to collect a fee of 8 million euros, as reported by Tuttosport in today's edition.
