AC Milan managers are working to keep their star, Franck Kessié, as he is a fundamental piece to coach Stefano Pioli's plans.
Kessié's contract is set to expire at the end of the next season and his skills as well as qualities are tempting English giants Liverpool.
According to what is reported in today's print edition of Il Corriere dello Sport, Liverpool's boss Jurgen Klopp would like to get his hands on the Rossoneri player. The English club would be willing to offer the Ivorian midfielder a net salary per season worth 6 million euros, which is what his agent, George Atangana, requests from Milan in order to extend the contract.
But, besides the salary, Liverpool are showing how serious they are by offering a rich commission fee to the player's agent, adds the source.
For his part, however, Franck Kessié is giving priority to the Rossoneri managers. AC Milan are offering 5.5 million euros so far which includes bonuses. The distance should be closed between all parties with technical director Paolo Maldini not willing to lose the sports services of his star man.
