Tiémoué Bakayoko is ready for a new chapter in his career with a return to Milanello. The player knows the Serie A well by now and the Milan environment. In the 2018/2019 season, he spent a productive loan spell with the Rossoneri, and last season he played on a temporary basis for Napoli.
The player will soon be ready and available to coach Stefano Pioli. According to what is reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the midfielder could be on the bench already as early as tomorrow evening for the match against Cagliari.
The 27-year-old will be in Milan during the day, undergo his medical examinations and sign the contract that will tie him to the Rossoneri for two more seasons.
Milan will be able to sign the player in the summer of 2023 by paying 15 million euros as Chelsea managers agreed to lower their financial claims. But, the buy-option could turn into an obligation if certain conditions are met.
