Adam Ounas' name has returned to the shortlist of potential targets to bolster the team. The player is Napoli-owned after spending a loan spell at Crotone last season.
The 24-year-old Algerian has a contract expiring in 2022 with Napoli and now, Alfredo Pedullà has confirmed the news anticipated by Footmercato.
According to the journalist Milan attempted to find an agreement with Napoli this morning by making phone call contacts. However, Napoli showed little flexibility and demanded a high fee of 18 million euros with bonuses that would make the overall deal reach the 20 million euros mark.
For his part, coach Spalletti deems Ounas important for his plans and that makes the deal even more complicated to close at the moment.
