Romain Faivre, star of Brest, was understood to be a Milan player to reinforce the attacking midfield. The 23-year-old French talent can also play as a winger which is why the Rossoneri management tried to accelerate and close the deal for him.
However, as per La Gazzetta dello Sport, there are now confirmations that the deal could not go through now as transfer talks between Milan and Brest could not reach an agreement that pleases both clubs.
The French board, in fact, kept insisting on receiving 15 million euros for their player. Milan deemed the fee too high and chose to not send a new bid in the hopes of pleasing the Ligue 1 side. The Rossoneri club managers will have to seek other profiles.
