Tuttosport, in today's print edition, took stock of AC Milan's mercato and their efforts to sign a winger on the right that would strengthen the squad in this season. In this regard, the name of Jesus Corona, 28, of Portuguese giants Porto is always in the radar.
The newspaper writes that it seems difficult that Jesús Corona can become a player of Milan in this market session. In fact, Maldini and Massara do not actually plan to satisfy the economic demands of the Portuguese club which is at 17 million euros. The Milanese board deems such a fee excessive.
However, at the moment, the player's agent and intermediary for the transfer operation, Marcelo Simonian, are still in Milan city. The two are trying to work together and lower Porto's demand. If they succeed in doing so, then the operation would be unblocked and done in the last minute of the mercato.
